Dr. Hsieh Participates in Webinar on Creating a Culture of Caring in Schools

Dr. Betina Hsieh, an Assistant Professor in the Teacher Education department, recently participated in a live Connected Learning TV program on “Creating a Culture of Caring in the Classroom.” The webinar was part of Connected Learning’s “Back to School": Creating the Year We Want to Live In initiative. Dr. Hsieh spoke about how she creates a community of learners in her pre-service teacher education courses and why it is important for future teachers to have this type of community. Connected Learning is a collaborative effort of the Digital Media & Learning Research Hub and the Connected Learning Alliance and is supported by the MacArthur Foundation.
