Rea Ramos
Rea Ramos, M.S., CCC-SLP is a part-time lecturer in the Department of Speech-Language Pathology at California State University, Long Beach. Rea graduated from the University of California, Irvine with a B.A. in Studio Art. She received her M.S. in Communication Sciences & Disorders from Emerson College. Since becoming a speech-language pathologist, she has worked across the lifespan, with experience in early intervention, school-age populations, adolescents, and adults. She has served as lead SLP and clinical manager at pediatric private practices. She also has experience supporting adults in community-based day programs, including the implementation of functional communication systems and staff training that enhance autonomy, social participation, and engagement in meaningful daily activities. Her professional areas of interest include early intervention, autism, gestalt language processing, speech sound disorders, play-based therapy, and family-centered practices.
