Dr. Lesley Farmer Co-authors "Library Improvement Through Data Analytics"

Dr. Lesley Farmer, professor and coordinator of the Teacher Librarian Services Credential and Dr. Alan Safer, professor in the Department of Mathematics and Statistics, recently had their book “Library Improvement Through Data Analytics,” published by the American Library Association. This work introduces the basics of the Six Sigma framework as a model that can be applied to a variety of library settings. The book provides a statistics primer and several case studies that explain data analytics to improve library functions.
