Working to Expand MTSS: Dr. Jacob Olsen

Dr. Jacob Olsen has been selected to be on the Projects Design Team of a newly formed partnership between the Center for the Transformation of Schools at UCLA, the Orange County Department of Education, and the Butte County Office of Education. Over the next five years, this partnership will seek to grow California’s Multi-tiered System of Support (MTSS) initiative. As part of his role, Dr. Olsen will help develop evidence-based curriculum for California schools and also create scalable strategies for employing positive discipline approaches that can be applied beyond the classroom and into the wider school district and community.
