Dr. Michael V. Steinberg joined CECEM in 2007. He has been teaching the courses of Theory of Plates and Shells, Analytical Mechanics, and Structural Analysis. Currently, he is teaching CE-458.

Dr. Steinberg has B.S. and M.S. degrees in Civil Engineering with an emphasis in Hydrology, earned at the Institute of Hydropower Engineering in Odessa (Ukraine), and a Ph.D. degree in Structural Engineering from Odessa Institute of Civil Engineering, where he worked as an Associate Professor, teaching Structural Analysis, Theory of Elasticity, and Shell Structures. He has participated in projects involving thin-walled shells.
