Job Title: Graduate Research Assistant in Transportation Engineering
Location: Department of Civil Engineering & Construction Engineering Management, California State University Long Beach (CSULB)

Supervisor: Dr. Shailesh Chandra
Job Requirements: A successful candidate will be highly motivated with a zeal to complete the Ph.D. within four years or less and with at least one publication in a reputed transportation journal related to freight, supply chain, etc. Candidate must possess strong programming skills in Python, Matlab, or R and the ability to conduct analytical research and simulations related to freight transportation and supply chain. An additional requirement is the ability to document and present research findings.
Degree requirements: An earned Master’s degree in civil engineering, computer science, mathematics, statistics, or industrial engineering. Knowledge of supply chain operations in transportation is a plus.
