Maeve Allen

Maeve Allen is an undergraduate student in the Psychology program at California State University—Long Beach and a member of the Building Infrastructure Leading to Diversity (BUILD) research program on campus. In August 2024, she will start as a doctoral student in the Social and Cognitive Psychology program at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. Her research interests focus on how one’s marginalized identity affects help-seeking behaviors, such as seeking medical care or victim advocacy. She currently works as a research intern at the Center for Successful Aging, where she studies how healthcare educational programs teach and evaluate gerontological content.
