Elaine Acosta Gonzalez
- Alberto Hurtado University in Chile - Founder of the Sociology program and served as its academic coordinator for ten years.

Kamiar Alaei
- Dr. Alaei serves as the Chairman and Professor of global health policy at CSULB, an External Evaluator at the University of Oxford and the PI of the over $10 Million federal grant to develop new interdisciplinary degree programs on Public Health Informatics and Technology (PHIT).
- Dr. Alaei earned five graduate (including two doctorate) degrees in medicine, health policy, epidemiology, international health, and international human rights law at prestigious universities such as Harvard and Oxford with full scholarship.
- He has also earned an advance certificate on Artificial Intelligent in Healthcare from MIT.
Dina Berg
- Founder and Executive Director, The Heart of Ida, Long Beach.
Dr. Maria Chandler
- Dr. Maria Y. Chandler is a pediatrician at MemorialCare Miller Children's and Women's Hospital Long Beach and a graduate of the University of California, Irvine (UCI) Medical School and Pediatric Residency Program.
- She serves as the Chief Medical Officer at TCC (The Children's Clinic), where she oversees medical activities and leads the expansion of the Behavioral Health Program.
- Dr. Chandler also contributes as a Volunteer Clinic Faculty member at U.C. Irvine's Departments of Pediatrics and Anesthesiology and Perioperative Care, and she is the elected President of the Association of MD/MBA Programs.
- She is a member of the Board of Trustees for Long Beach Memorial/Miller Children's Hospital and serves as the Chair of the Medical Economics Task Force and MD/MBA Program Advisor at UCI's School of Medicine and Merage School of Business.
Dr. Michael Williams
- Michael Williams is currently a Director at the School of Nursing.
- His research interests include families experiencing crises, men’s health issues, and LGBT health issues, and nursing education.
Jasmine Lacasama
Laura Trejo
- Dr. Laura Trejo is the first Director of the Los Angeles County Aging & Disabilities Department.
- Appointed by the Board of Supervisors, Dr. Trejo oversees programs and service delivery for older adults and adults with disabilities, including Adult Protective Services (APS), the Area Agency on Aging (AAA), and the County’s fourteen Community and Senior Centers. Some of her key initiatives include Purposeful Aging Los Angeles (PALA) and the Los Angeles Aging Disability Resource Connection.
- With over 36 years of experience from the fields of aging, health, mental health, Alzheimer’s, and rehabilitation, Dr. Trejo is committed to creating culturally competent and impactful programs to ensure that all older adults and adults with disabilities can live with dignity and independence.
