Dr. Jolan Smith Receives the Outstanding Graduate Student Research Award, Will Be Honored at AERA

CED faculty, Dr. Jolan Smith, has been awarded the Outstanding Graduate Student Research Award for her work “Lessons Learned: Collaboration with School Psychologists within a Juvenile Detention Setting” conducted while a student. The award honors research in the field of special education that focuses on children, adolescents, and adults with disabilities. Dr. Smith will be honored by the Special Education Research Special Interest Group (SER-SIG) at this year’s American Educational Research Association’s (AERA) annual meeting in Toronto. Congratulations to Dr. Smith!
