Lizette Hernandez-Soto

My name is Lizette Hernandez-Soto and I am a graduate student in the Gerontology program at California State University, Long Beach. I am currently in my final year of the program. I bring over months of experience in working with older adults, helping them if they have any problems they are going through, and assisting Spanish speaking older adults with translations from English to Spanish. I am very passionate about helping older adults and advocating for those that are underrepresented. I’m excited to be interning with the Center for Successful Aging because I would like to have more experience working with older adults and learning more about the different ways I can help them. I want to help make a difference in their lives and improve their overall life satisfaction. In my free time, I like to draw, walk in the park, and spend time with my family.
