Listed below are some available test prep options for some of the CTC required assessments for the Credential Programs. Contact the Teacher Preparation Advising Center if you have any questions.
Free CBEST Online Preparation Course and Practice Tests
The Teacher Preparation Advising Center and Impact Teach Program sponsor a free online CBEST preparation course and practice test opportunities through Longsdale Publications. This program is free of charge to students, and is designed to complement your own self-study for the exam.
To access the online course, please fill in the form with your information. Once your request has been received, you will be emailed log-in information and an access code.

Cracking the CalTPA 2.0
The Free Cracking the CalTPA Workshops are open the candidates currently student teaching in the Multiple Subject, Single Subject and Urban Dual Credential Programs at CSULB. The workshops give an overview of the new CalTPA 2.0 cycles as well as some tips and pointers to use when completing your assessment. The CalTPA Cycle 1 & 2 workshops are only open to current CSULB student teachers.
An RSVP is required using the form below to attend the workshops to ensure that there is enough room.
We highly recommend that you sign up for the workshops that correspond to your program since the information will be targeted to each specific programs at the workshops indicated below.

CalTPA 2.0 Tech Support Workshop
The CalTPA 2.0 Tech Workshops assist students in clipping their video components for upload to the Pearson platform for CalTPA Cycle 1 and Cycle 2. Candidates should click the link below to sign up for an individual appointment for assistance. Be sure to bring your videos with you to the workshop for assistance in clipping them and uploading.
