The Health Care Administration Department is proud to present former Secretary Norman Y. Mineta for a presentation & discussion on the American Disabilities Act. Mr. Mineta, the author of the transportation provisions in the American Disabilities Act, will share his experiences having served two decades as a member of the U.S. House of Representatives.

Mr.Greene is the President and Chief Executive Officer of the Hospital Association of Southern California (HASC), a position he assumed in early 2017. HASC has more than 180 member hospitals spanning six counties: Los Angeles, Orange, San Bernardino, Riverside, Ventura and Santa Barbara. It serves the political, economic, informational and educational needs of hospitals and helps improve the quality and accessibility of health care services in Southern California.

Cindy Ehnes, Esq.
Ms. Ehnes, is an attorney licensed in California and Colorado. She served as Gov. Schwarzenegger's Director of the California Department of Managed Health Care for seven years, overseeing health insurance services for 21 million Californians. As Direct of the California DMHC, Mrs. Ehnes regulations operation and oversight system for risk-bearing medical groups and IPAs. She is also the CEO of the California Children's Hospital Association and provided leadership to the California Quality Care Collaborative. Cindy also provides interim health plan CEO capabilities, executive coaching, compliance reviews, as well as strategic consulting for health plans and medical groups. Mrs. Ehnes is the author of The Prentice Hall ADA Compliance Advisor and was a world-class ski racer.

Cathy Chidester has served as the Director of the Los Angeles CountyEmergency Medical Services (EMS) Agency since 2006 and oversees the daily operations of the largest multi-jurisdictional EMS system in the nation. The agency serves as the lead for the EMS system in the county and is responsible for coordinating all system participants in its jurisdiction, encompassing both public and private sectors. The system utilizes over 18,000certified EMS personnel employed by fire departments, law enforcement, ambulance companies, hospitals and private organizations to provide lifesaving care to those in need 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
