PK-3 Events
The PK-3 ECE Specialist Instruction Credential Program is built on the belief that community and connection are essential for student success. As our students begin their journey toward earning a PK-3 credential, we strive to create a welcoming environment where they can access the resources, support, and relationships they need to thrive.
To foster this sense of belonging and professional growth, we host events and community gatherings designed to uplift and empower early childhood educators.
We invite you to take a look at some of the memorable events we've hosted over the past year!

Cal State Long Beach proudly hosted a celebration to mark the launch of its new PK-3 Early Childhood Education Specialist Instruction Credential Program— a milestone in advancing early childhood learning across California. The event brought together educators, stakeholders, and supporters to recognize the dedication and collaborative efforts that made the program’s implementation possible.
A highlight of the gathering was the heartfelt recognition of our Ballmer Early Childhood Educator Ballmer Scholars. Their stories celebrated the impact of high-quality early childhood education and their commitment to shaping brighter futures for students.
