Jashanpreet Kaur

I am a nursing graduate student in the Gerontology program at California State University, Long Beach and recently completed my first year. I have over five years of experience as a student and staff nurse working with older adults enhancing their health and dignity. Through my academic research projects and community-based initiatives, I have explored practical, evidence-based strategies to support older adults in maintaining independence and meaningful engagement in their communities. I aspire to contribute to innovative programs and policies that promote healthy aging, lifelong learning, and social connection for diverse aging populations. I am really excited to be a part of Centre of Successful Aging as an intern to better support older adults.
