Law Assists Certain Evictions and Foreclosures due to Coronavirus

Governor Newsom has recently signed off on AB 3088, co-authored by Assemblymembers David Chiu (D-San Francisco), Monique Limón (D-Santa Barbara), Senators Steven Bradford (D-Gardena), and Anna Caballero (D-Salinas). The new law provides dates and limitations as to rent and eviction actions as well as foreclosure protections for some landlords.
