Documenting Student Learning on the iPad

This event has passed. Please enjoy the recording below.

Observational data can be helpful for evaluating student performance. Perhaps your students are giving presentations, and you want an easy way to take notes as they present. Or, perhaps you are a clinical professor or supervisor who is observing students on-site, and you want to easily document their learning. The Notes and Numbers apps on the iPad make it easy to do just that! In this virtual session, you will learn how to create notes and forms that can simplify and streamline the data collection process.

NOTE: This is a virtual session. To follow along with our hands-on activities, have your iPad charged and ready to use. Mobile Teaching Kits, which include an iPad Air and Apple Pencil, can be reserved for the semester from Academic Technology Services.

Presented by: Tolu Noah, Ed.D., Instructional Learning Spaces Coordinator (Tolu.Noah@csulb.edu).
