Discover innovative strategies for enhancing online course delivery and student engagement. This session differentiates between synchronous and asynchronous formats, identifies key elements of online teaching, presents design options for intuitive course layouts, and discusses engaging activities to build community and enhance learning. CSULB faculty will also join us to share their insights and direct experience with online teaching.

  • Identify their key elements of online teaching and learning.
  • Design an online course layout that guides students to start the course and easily find key components like lectures and assignments.
  • Develop and apply engaging delivery methods and activities, such as student introductions, to build community and enhance learning online.
