"Pandemic as Trauma" - Dr. Bita Ghafoori Shares Recommendations in CSU Webinar
Dr. Bita Ghafoori, Professor, Advanced Studies in Eduction and Counseling, and Director, Long Beach Trauma Recovery Center, presented “Pandemic as Trauma”, as part of a CSU-initiated webinar “COVID-19 - A CSU Educator Preparation Community Meeting”.
Dr. Ghafoori’s presentation shared specific recommendations for teacher educators to best support the social and emotional needs of students, teachers, and parents. Presented by CSU Chancellor’s Office Educorps, this presentation included over a hundred participants, made up of students, faculty, and various community members.
