Instructor Victoria Bryan’s LST211 class, Theatre, Dance and Movement for Inclusive Elementary Classrooms, focuses on using elements of the performative arts such as theater, dance, and movement in the inclusive, elementary classroom. Students can learn how to apply these techniques rooted in the arts to work with children in their future classrooms. With much evidence showing the benefit of incorporating the arts into teaching practice, this class allows the student to gain a better understanding of how performative arts can be adapted to their teaching methods.
