Dr. Nasima F. Bhuiyan’s research interests include traffic operations, transportation and pedestrian safety, traffic modeling and simulation, intelligent transportation systems, urban transportation safety, sustainability, advanced transportation mobility, and multimodal urban transportation systems. She earned a B.S. in Civil Engineering from Bangladesh University of Engineering & Technology (BUET) in 2006, an M.S. in Civil (Environmental) Engineering from California State University, Fullerton in 2010, and a PhD in Civil (Transportation) Engineering and Industrial Applied Mathematics from California State University, Long Beach and Claremont Graduate University in 2018.
