Services at the Long Beach Trauma Recovery Center are provided free of charge.

Therapy Services

The LBTRC provides evidence based therapies to diverse survivors of trauma, violence, and crime. Therapy is provided to individuals and youth in English and Spanish.

Treatment Options Include:

  • Prolonged Exposure Therapy
  • Cognitive Processing Therapy
  • Narrative Exposure Therapy
  • Dialectical Behavioral Informed Therapy
  • Seeking Safety
  • Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TFCBT)
  • Cognitive Behavioral Therapy
  • Person Centered Therapy

Group Therapy

The LBTRC also offers group therapy throughout the year for survivors of trauma, violence, and crime in English and Spanish. Our current group titled "Creative Coping for Trauma Survivors" is offered to anyone ages 18 and older who is interested in learning more about trauma-specific coping skills in a group setting. Interested participants can contact us to learn more about current groups offered or to schedule your group assessment consulation. 

Psychiatric Services

No cost psychiatric evaluation and follow up appointments are provided to active LBTRC clients  who are adults. The cost of medication is not included and child psychiatric services are not provided. 

Case Management Services

Case management services focus on advocating and connecting clients to community resources.
