Marriage and Family Therapy’s Charlotte Haigh Earns Student Research Competition Honors

Charlotte Haigh, a student in the Marriage and Family Therapy master’s program, garnered the first-place award in the education category at the 31st annual California State University Statewide Student Research Competition, which was held at California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo. Ms. Haigh’s presentation was titled “More Than Skin Deep: Examining the Impact of the Desire for Lighter Skin on the Mental Health of University Students in Thailand.” Her faculty mentor is Dr. Paul Ratanasiripong.
