Alumni Spotlight: Michael You

Published July 9, 2020

For Michael You, the aspects of his career that are rewarding and challenging are one and the same: it is about finding passion in helping others achieve their goals. "Life is cyclical," he said. "Being consistent with the people that you are serving specifically, in the areas of listening (being present and understanding), communication (timing and use of language) and energy (passion and enthusiasm)."

Growing up I always enjoyed being healthy and active with friends, participated in youth and high school sports. Very thankful that my parents and sister supported my activities by taking time to help me when needed.

Life is cyclical. Being consistent with the people that you are serving specifically, in the areas of listening (being present and understanding), communication (timing and use of language) and energy (passion and enthusiasm). Thinking more in terms of preparing for any challenges.

Helping others achieve, providing a service to help and support people’s goals, improving health and quality of life not just for today but for the future...sustainability over time.
