In this two-part workshop series, we will explore how you can use flipped learning to maximize the limited time you have with your students. Session 1 will focus on the foundations of flipped learning, including what it is, what it is not, how it can be beneficial, and how you can structure classes using a flipped approach. Session 2 will focus on active learning techniques you can use to engage students during your on-site classes. In both sessions, you will also have time to begin planning a flipped lesson that you can use in the future.
NOTE: These are 90-minute virtual workshops that will be held via Zoom. Please bring a physical or digital copy of your course syllabus to each session.
