2022 Black Lives Matter at School: Defining the Movement

What does it mean to value Black Lives at school? Join us to learn about the history, context, and vision of this movement and kick-off our upcoming BLM at School event, February 1 - 8.

Speakers:

Denish Jones: Former kindergarten teacher and preschool director, and current Director of the Art of Teaching Program at Sarah Lawrence College

Jesse Hagopian: High school teacher in Seattle and founding member of BLM at School

Okaikor Ayree-Price: Former classroom teacher, teacher-leader, and educational justice organizer

Lisa Covington: Cultural worker, curriculum developer and youth development consultant
