Applications for CA Small Business Covid Relief are Open

California Small Business Covid-19 Relief Grant Program

After a successful first round of the California Small Business Covid-19 Relief Grant Program, the Office of the Small Business Advocate is opening applications for their second-round from February 2nd at 8:00 am until February 8th at 6:00 pm. Those who applied in the first round but did not receive funding will automatically be considered in the second round and do not need to reapply. Applicants will be notified whether they are selected from February 11th to the 18th. This round is the final application window for this program.

Required documentation needs to be submitted to apply. Applicants must provide a signed certification used to certify their business, their most recent tax return filed or a copy of official filing with the California Secretary of State, and government-issued photo identification.

Businesses are eligible for grant amounts based on their annual revenue that was documented on their most recent tax return. Businesses with an annual revenue between $1,000 to $100,000 may receive $5,000. Businesses that have a revenue of more than $100,000 can receive $15,000, and businesses that produced more than $1,000,000 in annual revenue can earn $25,000.
