Students and instructors alike often have mixed feelings about group work. In this session, we will discuss how to design group work activities in order to maximize its benefits and limit its challenges. To do so, we’ll listen to clips from the Teaching Takes podcast, where instructors from across the nation share their “takes” on how to do group work well. We’ll discuss each take and consider its implications for teaching and learning. This is a discussion-based session (not a workshop), so please come ready to share your thoughts.

NOTE: This is a 1-hour virtual discussion that will be held via Zoom. The session will NOT be recorded in order to create a space for open and honest dialogue.
