Building Accessible Canvas Pages

Creating an inclusive online learning environment begins with accessible course design. In this hands-on workshop, participants will learn best practices for building Canvas pages that are clear, organized, and usable by all students. 

We will explore existing Canvas tools, and review practices such as using proper HTML headings to structure content, creating descriptive hyperlinks, organizing information, and writing effective alternative text for images. 

By the end of the session, participants will be equipped with practical techniques to enhance accessibility, promote intuitive navigation, and ensure that all learners can fully engage with course materials.
