Transfer Admissions Requirements
Undergraduate Transfers
Students who have completed at least 60 transferable semester units or 90 transferable quarter units are considered undergraduate transfer students. The number of transferable units will be determined by the International Admissions office. See below for CSULB admission criteria for international undergraduate transfers.
- File a CSU Long Beach application through Cal State Apply by the deadline.
- Complete a Supplemental Application
- The supplemental application will only be accessible through an email invitation after submitting the Cal State Apply application. Filing period may vary from year to year.
- Spring Supplemental Application period: September 2 – September 21
- Fall Supplemental Application period: January 4 – February 1
- Submit all original and certified English copies of transcripts from all colleges/universities attended:
- For Fall Admission, transcripts must show units through the end of Spring Term.
- For Spring Admission, transcripts must show units through the end of the previous Summer Term.
- Please do not request transcripts until the above terms have been met.
- Complete college level mathematics
- Fulfill CSULB's English Language Requirement
- File a CSU Long Beach application through Cal State Apply by the deadline.
- Submit original and certified English copies of transcripts from all institutions attended (high schools and colleges/universities):
- For Fall Admission, transcripts must show units through the end of previous Spring Term.
- For Spring Admission, transcripts must show units through the end of the previous Summer Term.
- Please do not request transcripts until the above terms have been met to avoid having to submit multiple transcripts.
- Meet CSULB English Language Requirements
- Complete College Level Mathematics.
