New International Student Orientation

New international first-year, transfer, and graduate students are required to attend International Orientation.
Orientation programs will be offered in person and on Zoom. 

During orientation, you will learn how to:

  • Maintain valid immigration status while studying in the U.S.
  • Adapt to American culture and university expectations.
  • Access campus services and resources
  • Get involved on campus with student organizations such as the International Student Association.

Graduate International Student Orientation

New graduate international students are required to attend in person:

  • Monday August 19th 2024 at 9am
  • Location TBD: On Campus

Participate in a fun Scavenger Hunt to learn about CSULB student services and resources, meet and interact with other international students. Lunch will be provided.

All new transfer international students are required to attend either online transfer orientation, or in person Freshmen orientation.
