Registration Resources for Current Students:

An important resource that you should regularly check is your Academic Requirements Report (ARR), which is your degree audit at CSULB. Your ARR is a comprehensive list of your degree requirements—including General Education, major, and minor categories—along with completed and in-progress courses that meet those requirements.

This report is an interactive advising tool that will help you track your academic progress toward graduation. You should review this report before you enroll in classes every semester and any time you make changes to your schedule.

(SSO Login Required)

Along with your academic advisor, your ARR is a great resource to help you plan your overall class schedule. Consider this report, along with your Degree Planner, a roadmap from admission to graduation!

Visit the Schedule of Classes page before enrolling every semester for the latest news and updates regarding registration processes, health and safety guidelines, modes of instruction, and more. After you enroll, continue to check your MyCSULB Student Center for class schedule updates. Remember that hybrid and face-to-face classes require students to attend class on campus or at a community site.

Refer to Key Dates and Deadlines for a complete list of current and upcoming registration dates.

  1. Review any account holds and register for classes via MyCSULB Student Center.
  2. Once enrolled, you may change your schedule as needed until the last day of self-service registration
  3. After self-service registration ends, registration and adjustments are by approval only

Helpful Tips and Tutorials: Learn how to check for holds on your account, when you can enroll in classes, and what to do after you enroll via the Registration Information page.

Unsure where to start? Attend a free Registration and Online Tools workshop! This workshop is currently offered online.

If you are on the waitlist for a class, be sure to have a backup option because there's no guarantee that you will be able to join the class. If you are only waitlisted for classes and not enrolled in any, you won't be considered an enrolled student until you secure a spot in an open class. You may waitlist for a maximum of 5 units.

It is always a good idea to register for your ideal classes as early as possible once your registration window opens to avoid losing a potential spot in a key course! If you need to change your classes once final grades are posted (or if your plans change for any other reason) you may do so with the Add/Drop or Swap feature in MyCSULB Student Center. Keep in mind that classes do fill up fast. Connect with your academic advisor for further support.
