For official major requirements, please contact your major's department and/or refer to the University Catalog, corresponding with the year you fully-declared or will fully-declare in your major. 

Note: Your Academic Requirements Report (ARR), located in your MyCSULB Student Center, will also display all of your general education, major, and graduation requirements, once you have fully-declared in your major.

The ESSC Unofficial Flowcharts are designed by to assist students with course planning and navigating their academic journey. While these flowcharts are unofficial—as they have not been approved by the respective departments—they are provided as helpful tools for student-use. 

Each flowchart corresponds to students who declared their major in the academic year listed on the document. Please note that the information on these flowcharts are subject to change without notice to ensure accuracy and may be updated as corrections are made.
