Kerop Janoyan

Dr. Kerop Janoyan currently serves as Associate Dean of Research and Graduate Studies in the College of Engineering at CSULB. He is an accomplished educator, researcher, and administrator with extensive experience leading academic, research, and institutional initiatives. He earned his B.S., M.S., and Ph.D. from UCLA and is a licensed Professional Engineer in California and a Fellow of the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE).

His research focuses on intelligent infrastructure, sustainability, and clean energy systems. He has authored or co-authored more than 100 technical papers and reports, and his research and development efforts have secured significant external funding from industry partners, foundations, and state and federal agencies. Dr. Janoyan has advised numerous graduate and undergraduate students, many of whom have gone on to earn honors, awards, and successful academic and professional careers. His recognitions include election as a By-Fellow of Churchill College at Cambridge University and as a Fellow of the AGB Institute for Leadership & Governance in Higher Education.
