Dr. Shabnam Sodagari is a faculty member in the Computer Engineering and Computer Science Department at California State University Long Beach. She received her Ph.D. in electrical engineering from the Pennsylvania State University. Her current research interests include data-analytic-centered and machine-learning-based IoT systems (e.g., in healthcare), dynamic spectrum access, and secure next-generation communications. Her research also encompasses coexistence of radar and communication systems. She is a senior member of IEEE and has several publications at impactful journals and major conferences. She co-chaired the CRESS workshop series on the security of dynamic spectrum access in conjunction with IEEE Conference on Communications and Network Security (CNS).
