Ukleja Center for Ethical Leadership Offers Stipends to Enhance Teaching and Researching of Ethics at CSULB
To further its vision of having an ethics module in every CSULB course, the Ukleja Center for Ethical Leadership is delighted to announce two stipend opportunities for faculty and lecturers.
The center’s Ethics Across the Curriculum initiative was created to support the infusion of ethics in undergraduate and graduate courses across our campus. Faculty and lecturers are invited to submit proposals for a $3,000 pedagogical stipend to support the development of a 3-hour ethics module in the course(s) that they teach. To be inclusive, priority will be given to new applicants and to modules for courses in a college’s core curricula or courses that are mandatory for a particular major. Up to fifteen awards will be given this spring.
The Ukleja Center is also offering two $5,000 stipends to support original ethics research and to contribute to the body of knowledge in disciplinary and interdisciplinary ethics.
The pedagogical application and research application are both due to email@example.com by March 1, 2021. Proposals will be evaluated by separate review committees comprised of past stipend recipients. All 2020-2021 award recipients will be announced in April.
