⁠Lights, Camera, LinkedIn! From Headshots to Career Connections  

The Student Center for Professional Development (SCPD) transformed its office into a Headshot Studio, helping students strengthen their personal brand and prepare for career opportunities. Over the course of the event, 81 students updated their LinkedIn profiles with new professional headshots. While students dressed professionally, even if only from the waist up, the real focus was helping them feel confident and comfortable in front of the camera. SCPD staff provided encouragement and guidance throughout the process, helping students capture photos they felt proud to share with employers and their professional networks. The energy and confidence gained during the event carried beyond the photo session, as many students headed directly to the CSULB Career Development Center Job and Internship Fair to network with employers and explore career opportunities. By helping students put their best face forward, the Headshot Studio continues to support career readiness, confidence-building, and professional success.
