Student Success: “Your Future in Business” Event Empowers LBCC Students

In collaboration with the Long Beach College Promise and the Long Beach City College (LBCC) Business Department, the CSULB College of Business (COB) Outreach Team proudly hosted the Your Future in Business event on September 18, 2025, welcoming over 40 LBCC Business students to explore academic and career pathways.

Participants gained valuable insights into the transfer process to CSULB’s College of Business, learning what it takes to make a successful transition. The event also featured engaging panel discussions with industry professionals who shared their expertise in Supply Chain Management, Financial Management, and Hospitality Management, offering students a real-world perspective on these thriving fields.

A variety of CSULB resources were on hand to support students, including representatives from COB Graduate Programs, COB Student Clubs, Career Services, and outreach teams from Economics, Hospitality Management, and Health Care Administration.

This collaborative effort provided an enriching experience for LBCC students, equipping them with the knowledge and connections to confidently pursue their future in business.
