SCO and Syllabi Related Policies
Collected by Associate Deans Office
These two documents are collected and managed by the Associate Deans office. The SCO changes are requested periodically and the Syllabis are collected each term.
- Chairs will provide these two documents as instructed by the associate dean's office.
- Faculty will provide the Syllabi as instructed by the Chairs.
Student / Public Access Restricted
These 2 documents, the Standard Course Outline and Syllabi, are not publicly available per policy and must be requested from a Professor, Department Chair, or the Associate Dean's office. They are provided per campus policy. For Study Abroad applications, students should contact studyabroad@csulb.edu to coordinate documents.
Faculty Access SCO Documents and Support
COB's internal faculty resource documents are available on the COB MyBeach Intranet, accessible to all college faculty and staff via SSO login.
New Faculty Access Alert:
New faculty may not yet have access to this page until their campus account is fully established. Status can be checked in MS Outlook. Access the details on the email in Outlook, a fully established user account will have a department Manager and Office location listed; if only an email shows, it is not fully established. If access is not yet established and a new professors need a course document, contact your department's ASC to get the document needed.
Student and Public Access Notice:
General CSULB students or the public should not be provided to SCO. Professors will contact the COB Office of the Associate Dean for SCO student policy and acceptable SCO distribution rules, or when providing either document on demand.
For Study Abroad applications, students should please contact studyabroad@csulb.edu to coordinate documents.
