CSULB Experimental Photography Students exhibition in Downtown Long Beach

The students from Art 449 - Experimental Practices in Photography will be holding an exhibition of their work at a space in Downtown Long Beach. The exhibition entitled I Hate Photography features the artwork of 19 CSULB Graduate and Undergraduate students who have worked at length in the medium of photography. The title of the exhibition might seem contradictory, but I Hate Photography stems not from disdain, but rather the ironic, love-hate relationship that arises after extended engagement with the subject. The show will be open from May 17 through May 24th, and will be open for view by appointment.
