CSULB Painting instructor Cole Case to have exhibition at Track 16 Gallery in Downtown LA
CSULB Painting instructor Cole Case will be having a solo exhibition at Track 16 gallery in Downtown Los Angeles. Entitled, "And it Keeps Coming 'Til the Day it Stops", the show will feature new paintings in oil on linen and canvas, depicting current political events and historical ones to showcase government oppression through the lens of historical painting. Whether it is works based on the Manzanar concentration camp to the present day kidnapping of Rosalin Vargas by ICE agents in Pasadena a few blocks from Case's studio - the works set out to capture the agony and pain and suffering in the face of unjust power. The exhibition will run from February 14 through April 18, 2026, with an opening reception on Saturday, February 14, from 6-9pm.
