Ethics at The Beach on March 11, 2022

All CSULB students are invited to attend the annual Ethics at The Beach webinar hosted by Associated Business Students Organization Council, Student Center for Professional Development, and Ukleja Center for Ethical Leadership this spring. The free virtual event will be held on Zoom from 10 a.m.-12 p.m. on Friday, March 11.

Attendees will have an opportunity to enhance their ethical leadership skills while exploring the webinar’s theme, Resilience Reignited: How our Stories Shape our Ethics. After brief welcoming remarks from our CSULB Provost, Dr. Karyn Scissum Gunn, and event sponsor, Boeing, the program will feature three dynamic guest speakers:

  • Gloria Cordero – Long Beach Water Commissioner and Navajo Nation Volunteer
  • Nancy Luong – Senior Campaign Manager at Salesforce
  • Darick Simpson – President of Earl B. and Loraine H. Miller Foundation

In addition, after completing a brief event survey, students will have an option to receive a digital Certificate of Completion and a free copy of Nancy Luong’s book, How We Got Here, a guided journal with 50 life-changing questions to ask your parents and loved ones.
