Digital Marketing for Small Business:  A "Hands On Workshop"

In this 'hands-on' workshop facilitated by CSULB - College of Business Administration faculty, small local business owners learned how to use social media such as Facebook, Instagram and Yelp and how to deploy email marketing to grow their business and turn customers into loyal "brand fans!"


Dr. Scott Flexo - CSULB-CBA Marketing Faculty and long time corporate marketing consultant showed the group how to build a customer database and use email marketing to stay in touch with customers, generate word of mouth advertising, build repeat business and grow customer lifetime value. 

Mr. Markus Biegel - CSULB-CBA Marketing Faculty, entrepreneur and management consultant has worked with hundreds of companies across many diverse industries. He discussed the fundamentals and current best practices of how to craft a social media strategy (i.e. Facebook, Instagram, Yelp) that fits with the individual businesses and maximize scarce resources.  

This was a free on campus workshop for small business sponsored by the College of Business Administration and the CBA Marketing Business Center.
