Canvas, our learning management system, recently experienced a disruption due to a global cybersecurity incident affecting many educational institutions.
Access to Canvas has now been restored.
Please keep in mind that CSULB will never ask for payment from faculty or students for the use of Canvas, including for examinations. In an abundance of caution, we strongly recommend that you download any important or necessary documents from Canvas for added security.
If you need support, you should contact the Technology Help Desk at 562-985-4959 or by email. Our community should also be mindful of unexpected emails from non-CSULB addresses, phone calls, or text messages claiming to be related to the Canvas security incident. Report any such communications.
