Request Records

To submit a request for a record/report release, please contact Records@upd.csulb.edu.

Considerations:

Some police reports are not releasable or may not be immediately releasable. Special circumstances may include:

• Cases that are still under investigation
• Cases involving minors
• Cases involving mental health detentions
• Cases involving medical incidents are only releasable to the injured party
• Cases involving victims of violent crimes, domestic violence, and/or sexual offenses may only be released to the victim
