Information Systems Advisory Board (ISAB)


Vision Statement

The vision of the Information Systems (IS) Advisory Board is to serve as a resource for contemporary methods and trends in the information systems field. Strategic targets and milestones are established in accordance with the initial objectives outlined in the development of the relevant structure, policy, and charter.

As a strategic board, it intends to provide continuous, forward-thinking input and guidance and act as a think tank. The board aims to ensure that the Information Systems Department remains continuously relevant and be of maximum value to the students and faculty.

Mission Statement

The core mission of the IS Advisory Board is as follows:

  • Ensure continuous relevance through high-impact industry intelligence by way of concepts, best practices, and methodology, and with value for all who utilize it;
  • Promote innovation with a progressive agenda by testing ideas and concepts with real companies;
  • Provide new channels for students to access mentorships and internships in the IS field, as well as communicate the local information technology (IT) and IS job market.
