Winners International Collegiate Business Strategy Competition
CSULB Successfully Competes at the 62nd International Collegiate Business Strategy Competition (ICBSC)
Fifteen CSULB students split into three teams made an excellent showing at this year's competition which was held April 23-25 in Anaheim. Each team executed a simulation of a company that they created at the start of the semester. Each CSULB team competed with other university teams in separate “World” groupings. CSULB, along with other competing university teams from the U.S. and other countries (Saudi Arabia, Romania, and Canada) then came together in Anaheim and spent three days in an “intensive” phase where they completed the analytical portion of the competition and presented their results to the judges. The judges are accomplished professionals from industry and academia, who acted as the Board of Directors. Each team was judged based on the following categories: Best Overall Performance, Best presentation, and Best Documents.
Each of the 3 CSULB teams that participated in the competition won at least one award in their competition, “World.”
