Student Leadership in Action: ABSOC’s Spring Banquet 2026
On Thursday, April 30, 2026, the Associated Business Students Organization Council (ABSOC) came together with students, faculty, staff, alumni, and supporters for its annual Spring Banquet at The Pointe in the LBS Financial Credit Union Pyramid. The evening was both a celebration and a reflection of students who stepped forward to serve with purpose.
This year’s banquet highlighted the remarkable work happening across organizations, recognizing students through ABSOC’s Distinction in Leadership and Engagement Pillars of Impact. From community impact and collaboration to professional growth and organizational excellence, the awards reflected the dedication and heart our student leaders bring to the College of Business (COB).

The program also included remarks from Dean Mark Suazo, acknowledgments of the faculty and staff who champion student leadership, and the presentation of the Dr. Stewart L. Farber Leadership Award and the Catherine A. Allen ABSOC Scholarship. Meaningful reminders of the continued investment in and belief in our students.
The evening concluded with the installation of the 2026-2027 ABSOC Executive Board, honoring the outgoing leaders who gave so much of their time and energy, while confidently passing the torch to the next group of student leaders ready to carry the work forward.
