Join this workshop to explore how you can create your own custom GPT models (agents) to perform specific tasks that will improve your productivity. We'll demonstrate how to create and train your own models, and provide examples that you can adapt for your work.
AI Chatbots vs. Agents
AI chatbots function through prompt-and-response and require continuous human instruction for every single step of a task. In contrast, an AI agent can reason, plan, and access external tools to execute multi-step processes from specific parameters that the user has defined.
What you can expect:
- Review the capabilities of custom AI agents.
- Examine tips for developing your own personalized AI agents for use in platforms like Copilot and ChatGPT.
- Engage with existing personalized agents available only at CSULB.
CSULB faculty, staff, and students get free access to OpenAI/ChatGPT resources through CSU through SSO or this direct link: CSU ChatGPT. Use your campus email address to log in.
