Campus Community Update #316

This October, the University Library is holding a range of events to mark International Open Access Week. Open Access Week is a chance to celebrate the benefits of opening up knowledge for all. The theme this year is ‘It Matters How We Open Knowledge: Building Structural Equity’ – in other words, how can all producers and consumers of knowledge participate equitably? A key part of the answer may involve Open Science, as detailed by UNESCO’s recent Recommendation on Open Science

We’ve organized a few activities about open access which touch upon the theme, so come along and take part:

Workshops

ScholarWorks at the Beach - Monday, October 25, 2021 1:00pm - 2:00pm

Open Access and Transformative Agreements at The Beach! - Wednesday, October 27, 2021 1:00pm - 2:00pm
