Technical Support

If you are having technical difficulties with your computer and/or digital devices that prevents you from successfully competing school work (e.g., get on campus WIFI, unable to send or receive emails, and interact with content in course Beachboard/Canvas, etc.), you can:

Software

CSULB Software Depot is the place where faculty, staff, and students can download software licensed for use on personally owned computers.

Please see the Software Depot for more information about software download and installation regulations and restrictions. Some common ones that STEM students might need include MATLAB, SAS, Microsoft Office 365, Mathematica, and Qualtrics.

Computer Labs

CSULB hosts a variety of computer labs on campus that can be utilized by all students. A complete list (general labs and academic department labs) is available.

If you are working remotely away from campus, you can utilize university-supported software applications at no extra cost with the CSULB Student Virtual Lab (SVL). The SVL is available 24/7 from any remote location. To access, visit Single Sign-On and select the SVL app.
